Child Safety Standards

Tedapp standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)

Last updated: October 19, 2026

1. Zero Tolerance

Tedapp has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Sharing, requesting, storing or linking to such content; grooming or any sexual communication with minors; the sexualization of children; sextortion; and child trafficking are strictly prohibited everywhere on the platform, including posts, comments, profiles, communities and private messages.

2. Reporting

Users can report posts, comments and profiles with the in-app report feature by choosing the "Child safety" reason; these reports are flagged to administrators as urgent. Reports can also be sent to destek@tedapp.org or through the in-app "Contact Us" page. If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services right away (112 in Türkiye).

3. Review and Enforcement

Child-safety reports are reviewed with priority. When a violation is confirmed, the content is removed immediately, access to it is blocked and the account is permanently banned. Records required for legal proceedings are preserved as required by law.

4. Reporting to Authorities

Confirmed CSAM and child exploitation cases are reported to the competent law enforcement and judicial authorities in Türkiye (Public Prosecutor's Offices and the cybercrime units of the General Directorate of Security), and we cooperate with relevant international organizations where appropriate and lawful.

5. Legal Compliance

Tedapp complies with applicable child safety laws, including the relevant provisions of the Turkish Penal Code (Law No. 5237) and Law No. 5651, as well as the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy.
